Age & USI Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years old (participants under 18 require a signed enrolment form from a parent/guardian).
- Have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) for certification issuance.
- Basic computer skills and internet access for online learning
- Basic Email address for course access and certificate deliveryskills and internet access for online learning
Physical Requirements For Practical Assessment:
- Be physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR on an infant manikin for at least 2 minutes kneeling on the floor.
- Demonstrate the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Requirements
- Complete incident reports accurately.
- Provide effective, assertive communication in emergency scenarios.
- Understand Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
- Understand spoken instructions & count to 30.
Pre-course Requirements:
- Complete all online pre-course theory modules before attending practical blended CPR training session
- Pass online knowledge assessment (unlimited attempts allowed)
