- Have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) for certification issuance
- Must have previously completed HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent certification

- Be physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin for at least 2 minutes kneeling on the floor
